It's been a year!
Hi, I'm Tina King and I didn't forget about our blog. I've just been going through a lot. I will plan ahead though. I did want to put out once a week, show you my titties and stuff. So, don't look away okay?
I got today's article idea while thinking about my writing journey. I don't know where this is going because most of my articles are planned and structured for purpose. I think I teach you some stuff. I think. This time, full on raving. This was the purpose of this blog, damn it. Why did we get professional about it?
Hey, so I dabbled back to my old books. I sell them as PDFs if you didn't know. I read a few chapters of Dealing With My Demons and The Big Mountain. I used to write in dialogue form and it's soooo cringey how I used "Me:" when referring to the main character. I was being the main character. I haven't had time to re-edit them thangs but good Lord, do I feel the cringe every time someone buys them. Forgive me, please? I was a child!
Now, I have full on (mostly) stuck to novel form. I say mostly because for The Royals 2, I decided to match it to the first book. Thinking back, I do wish I had done it in novel because I will be re-editing them both for hard cover books anyway.
This year, after finishing The Royals 2, I wrote a few more stories since. They are: A Storm Within, The Storm Awakes, Bound by Belief, Twisted Bonds, The Safehouse, Misdiagnosed, Too Weak For You. Our Facebook story which is a big book, The Silver Vows is also complete. So if you love werewolves, you know what to do. (If you don't, just WhatsApp me: 0636000468 - this line is strictly for business, books and campaigns.)
I am primarily a fantasy writer but I also love historical romance pieces. Misdiagnosed is an example of one and I'm working on book 2 of it as well as our first Royals stand alone book. Yes, the Royals series will have a stand alone book that has nothing to do with the reincarnation timeline. It will be set in 1789 and will explore the bond between two of your favourite royal lineages. Biyela and Sikhosana.
I have started reading again and I will be doing more book reviews. Right after this, I will be typing my very recent encounter with a thrilling short story that left me gasping.
See you soon. xx
